Below I have reviewed some of the top DVD burning programs that I have tested:

I Copy DVDs 2 Professional Edition:



pros: Works with all kinds of DVD's (even protected ones); easy to use; great for beginners; good quality of copy.


cons: Doesn't work with Windows Vista or 7; a little slow.










Nero Multimedia Suite 10




pros: Excellent quality of copy; supports different encodings, so you can make movies on DVD compatible with your MP3 player; has an aplication which allows you to edit your home movies in many different ways; realtively easy to use for a program with such advanced features; pretty fast;

cons: Not the best customer support







DVD Copy 6


pros:  Can convert DVDs to other formats, allowing you to enjoy your favorite movies, music or pictures on your I-pod (or similar device); good quality of copy; one of the cheapest DVD burning software out there.

cons:  if you're looking to back up copyrighted movies that you bought, then this isn't for you bcause it doesn't allow you to copy protected DVDs; bad custumer support.

cons:  This software doesn't like it when you desturb it by doing other work on you computer while it is performing its tasks.
